RESCUESIf you are looking for a free dog or puppy, good luck. You won't find one here. Rescues and special needs dogs or puppies require that special someone who will spare no expenses to give a dog or puppies a wonderful life rather than looking for a free deal.
On occasion I know of situations where a Yorkie may be looking for a new home. A rescue is never a puppy except for special needs situations. Most rescues are older dogs usually 5 years old and more. Often they are seniors.
Many rescues have ongoing health issues. A new owner will also have to be willing to put in time and sometimes money for training as the rescue will often not be very well housebroken and/or have other behaviour problems.
These dogs still have some quality time life but due to various unfortunate circumstances, sometimes even an owner who ‘can’t be bothered anymore’ after the dog has provided a lifetime of loyalty, this little dog is looking for someone to love them.
Rescues require special owners. If you think you might be one of those people dedicated to keeping one more Yorkie from being euthanized or ending up being passed from home to home, contact me.
I may or may not know of a little dog looking for a home immediately. Sometimes one does come up a little later that may be adoptable. Interviews, screening and home visits will apply before any rescue dog will be placed. I reserve the right to refuse a placement should I deem the placement unsuitable.
